Nike plans on revamping their Foamposite series with a new re-release under the name of Foamposite One Alternate Galaxy after premiering the shoe back in 2012. That’s right, the Galaxy theme will be back this year with a wider release dedicated to anyone that’s interested in adding Nike’s intergalactic makeover to their Foamposite collection.
In my personal opinion the Foamposite’s biggest asset is their indestructibility but now The Swoosh brand decided to add a cool theme to the kicks while making them rather practical and eye catching. The upcoming edition of the basketball shoe is based on an intergalactic makeover while the official release will carry on the name Nike Air Foamposite One Alternate Galaxy (Big Bang).
It’s easy to tell the reason why since the shoe features a cool graphic concept similar to nebula showcasing the interstellar theme on the foamposite shell, obviously the most significant addition to this release, combined with Black accents on the eyelets, tongue, laces, and lining. Overall, a good release that’s worth our attention for a high end basketball outfit or for rocking on a daily basis with jeans or with shorts and a t-shirt.
The rubber outsole gives the kicks a nice touch while a “Remove Before Flight” tag adds a nice feeling to the overall design. A design that’s most likely aiming to combine a good basketball shoe with a nice set of graphics to make it look more interesting than most similar editions. As we previously mentioned above, the shoe will get a wider release this month (January, 2018) with the 2018 edition featuring a more colorful graphic galaxy print combined with the Black accents and the Black rubber outsole.
