What you can learn from the wealthiest people in the world

Here are some interesting facts that set apart the top wealthiest people in the world from everyone else.

5) Avid readers

It’s not a secret anymore: the wealthiest people in the world are avid readers going as far as reading 40 pages on a daily basis. The billionaire also mentioned that he has a secret formula and it’s going to bed smarter than you woke up that day.

“I just sit in my office and read all day.” When asked how to get smarter, Buffett once held up stacks of paper and said, “Read 500 pages like this every week. That’s how knowledge builds up, like compound interest.”

4) They only talk to a few people and make a limited amount of important decisions on a dailybasis

It’s a known fact that Jeff Bezos only talks to a few people under his management and expects them to perform immaculately when it comes to applying his ideas. Not only does Bazos do this, but he also holds is “high-IQ” meetings in the early morning and only makes a few important decisions on a daily basis without burning-out his capabilities.

3) True visionaries in their field

One thing that most billionaires have in common is that they’re all visionaries in their field. This means that not only did they perform extraordinary, but they also changed and improved the industry they are part of.

For example, Jeff Bazos changed e-commerce, one of the most profitable industries in the world, forever with Amazon. Elon Musk plans on changing transportation with Tesla and Space X.

2) Self-made

Contrary to what many of us think, most billionaires are actually self-made so most of them have no rich families and no cash inherited.

Two-thirds of millenial billionaires are self-made, including Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg. The Harvard dropout became the youngest self-made billionaire in history at just 23 years old and today he’s worth an estimated $64.7 billion.

1) Their favorite hobby is philanthropy

Rich folks are holding all that cash for themselves, right? Well, wrong.

Most billionaires are actually great philanthropists, and we can easily name Bill Gates here. Gates made a promise to donate most of his wealth to charity after his death and is known due to his enormous support of philanthropic work.
